You can read every page without giving us anything. To deliver pages and keep the site safe, our server briefly processes technical data such as your IP address, the page asked for and your browser type (legitimate interest). We use no tracking, advertising or statistics tools.
Booking a week
The Availability page shows the weeks from our booking system. When you press Book, you continue on aquaticdivers.net, where Aquatic Divers keeps your account, booking, passport copy and payments for the trip. Its own privacy policy applies there: aquaticdivers.net/privacy
Newsletter and messages
If you sign up for our newsletter we keep your email address and language, and only send after you confirm the link we email you (consent). Every mail has an unsubscribe link. To stop repeated sign-ups, your IP address is held in coded form for 30 seconds. If you write to us by email or WhatsApp (a service of Meta), we use your message only to answer you.
Cookies and outside services
- sym_consent (necessary, 6 months): remembers your privacy choice.
- WordPress sign-in cookies are set only for our own site editors, never for visitors.
- Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.): our typefaces, loaded only after you choose Accept all. Google then receives your IP address. Without it the site uses your device's own fonts.
- Weather: our server asks Open-Meteo for the forecast, so your browser never contacts it.
- Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp are plain links: nothing is sent to them unless you click.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, limit or object to its use, receive it in a portable form, and withdraw a consent at any time. Write to us at the address above. You may also complain to a data protection authority.
